Garment Description and Features

Fully encapsulated Level A suit, standard three-layer faceshield (PVC 40 mil / Teflon® 5 mil / PVC 20 mil), attached internal Barrier® gloves, attached outer butyl gloves, expanded back (accommodates SCBA), front entry, gas-tight zipper closure, double storm flap over zipper, attached boots, outer boot flaps, knee wear pads, one exhaust valve, internal adjustment belt.

Fabric Description

Tychem® BR - a patented fabric made from a multi-layer barrier film laminated to a high strength 2.3 oz/yd² polypropylene substrate. Provides one of the broadest ranges of chemical protection available, with barrier data on over 250 chemicals available. This fabric is strong, abrasion resistant, lightweight and flexible.

Seam Type

Taped -  Both sewn and taped to provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes and tough seam stress. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible material by heat-sealing.
