solid chemicals. Developed by DuPont, Tychem® TK garments can be found in
industrial, hazmat and domestic preparedness applications. They offer dependable
protection with performance that has been proven over a wide range of chemicals.
Tychem®
TK is useful in
protecting against hazardous chemicals and contaminants found in the
workplace.
Tychem® TK garments are extremely durable and
puncture resistant. The chemical barrier properties of TK have been tested
against 260 challenge chemicals. Permeation data proves the excellent protective
capabilities of Tychem® TK. Lakeland’s Tychem® TK garments are all lime-yellow
in color, highly visible in both bright and dim light. Easily seen in hazy or
smoky environments, this line-up of chemical protective clothing is the first
line of defense | | Warning! Tychem® TK is not flame resistant and
should not be used around heat, flame, sparks, or in potentially flammable or
explosive environments. Garments made of Tychem® TK should have slip resistant
or antislip materials on the outer surface of boots, shoe covers or other
garment surfaces in conditions where slipping could occur.
