Chemguard 3% and 6% military specification aqueous film-forming foam concentrates (MS-AFFFs) are specially formulated for fast extinguishment of Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires – such as diesel, gasoline, and kerosene.  Listed on the Qualified Products List for MIL-F-24385F, our military-specifications foam concentrates meet all performance and compatibility requirements.

Typical applications include crash fire rescue, non-polar solvent fuel storage tanks, transportation facilities, processing and storage facilities, docks and tankers, and flammable liquid containment areas, as well as on mobile equipment.  Suitable for use with aspirating foam and standard water fog nozzles, as well as with deluge and closed-head foam/water sprinkler systems, these synthetic UL Listed foams can be used with fresh or salt water.

Chemguard military-specification foam concentrates exhibit excellent wetting characteristics on Class A fuel fires and can be used with siliconized dry chemical extinguishing agents.  These products are not intended for use on polar solvent and water miscible fuels, such as alcohols, esters, and ketones.
