Chemguard synthetic-based high-expansion foam concentrates are suitable for use with low, medium, and high-expansion foam generating equipment.  Our high-expansion foam concentrates can control and extinguish fires involving solid materials as well as flammable liquids.  In addition, our high-expansion foam concentrates exhibit special advantages with spills of liquefied natural gas.

Normally applied at a proportioning rate of 2%, Chemguard high-expansion foam concentrates generally are used in contained areas, such as mines and ship holds, where volume fire control is required.  A high-expansion generator can be used to fill an entire area with very light, highly expanded foam bubbles, with ratios as high as 1,000 to 1 possible.
