While the General Industry Kit can handle a maximum of three people, larger systems, using the CSI-2100, can be configured to handle up to 14 people. In Confined Space applications this allows one Attendant to monitor Entrants in adjacent spaces at the same time, giving greater efficiency without reducing worker safety.
CON-SPACE saw the difficulties contractors faced working in tanks, towers, reactors, vessels and bridges for sand blasting, hydro blasting, doing inspections, welding or general maintenance. In these work areas, many of which are Confined Spaces, good communication is essential for completing the work safely and on time.
The General Industry Kit is a one-on-one communication system configured specifically to help contractors work with greater efficiency and safety during operations in Hazardous Areas, especially where respirators or breathing equipment must be worn. The Kit can be expanded for one additional user adding the additional entrant kit.
